Patterned after the
ever-popular TV show, Geneva Idol features over two dozen singers
competing for a grand prize of $500.00, plus studio recording time
and airplay on WLKG 96.1 FM. Held in the Chalet at the Lodge
at Geneva Ridge, the contest features a fabulous showcase of the
area's singing talent. The contest is organized by the Geneva
Lakes Women's Association. See the link below for more

Michelle Smukowski is
the 2010 Geneva Idol winner. She is in the process of using
her studio recording prize, and you can look forward to hearing her
songs on WLKG in the upcoming months. She has also made
several appearances in the area at Potbelly's in Lake Geneva, Lake
Geneva Dancing With the Stars, and as a featured performer at Bistro
220 on Cook Street. Keep an eye on this site for photos and
